What we collect
When you register for the ACE expert network we collect your name, nationality, contact details (email, phone, LinkedIn), educational background, professional experience, areas of expertise, and any CV or diploma documents you choose to upload.
Why we collect it
Your data is held exclusively for the purpose of identifying suitable experts for potential projects. ACE will contact you only if a relevant opportunity arises. We do not share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
How long we keep it
Profile data and documents are retained for as long as necessary for the expert-network matching purpose, or until you request deletion. We review the register periodically and remove inactive profiles.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing contact@ace.africa. Data-deletion requests are processed manually within 30 days. This policy is consistent with the AU Malabo Convention on Cyber Security and Personal Data Protection and the ECOWAS Supplementary Act on Personal Data Protection.
